Miami Baptist Health Nurse Residency, 2021

Hey guys! I recently applied to Baptist Health Nurse Residency in Miami for the Fall 2021 cohort and I just wanted to create a form of communication for those who have applied as well! I assume we will not hear back for a while, considering it just opened, but if anyone has applied or heard back feel free to share here! ?

I didn’t get any HR welcome letter with the QR code. I did get an email from my unit’s nurse educator. We’re getting emails from a whole bunch of different people and none of them seem to be on the same page. It’s a mess.

 I just received the clearance confirmation with the welcome letter! . Now I’m just waiting for the email from the clinical nurse educator

I haven’t received an email from my clinical instructor and emailed HR about it.  My unit is 4 Hope. Am I the only one?

I just received an email from my clinical instructor. I’m going to be working for BOS

Hi, I applied in august and received a call from HR this week where I did a phone interview, but she told me I should received various calls from different managers by next week. This is my first time applying. Hoping for the best.

I just received a call from the ER department for an interview next week so I was finally able to get one and wishing you the best of luck.

Hi! For those of you who have started working at Baptist, how do you like the nurse resiedency program? Can you also share some insight on the pay for a new grad nurse? Also, how many years is the contract?
