  1. I didn’t get any HR welcome letter with the QR code. I did get an email from my unit’s nurse educator. We’re getting emails from a whole bunch of different people and none of them seem to be on the same page. It’s a mess.
  2. I got three separate emails. One from my unit with some education modules and other instructions, one from Nurse Development Resources, and then the same pending one everyone is getting from HR. I honestly think we’re all fine, they’re probably just very behind schedule.
  3. I literally just emailed HR about this. I don’t think anyone’s gotten a schedule yet but we start on Monday soooo
  4. I just got called with an offer for the ER, so I’m sure everyone will be finding out this week if they were selected! ☺️
  5. I had two interviews for ER, one last Wednesday and one on Monday, but no word yet. I think they’re waiting to finish all interviews to then send out offers/placement. I’m thinking it has to be pretty soon though because I remember them saying the cohort starts July 19th and we would need to do the whole hiring process quickly.
  6. I just had my interview and it went well! She said they’re doing multiple phases of interviews so this first one is just to confirm general information and explain how the rest of the process will work. She also said the residency will begin July 19th not September as originally planned.
  7. I’m sure they’ll talk about this at orientation but does anyone know if we can purchase our own scrubs in the school’s color or do we have to buy them directly from FIU?
  8. No but FIU gave us the July 24th deadline to get things done or else we can’t enroll into classes. I’ve just been listed as compliant and it took 2 weeks because they take time to review and approve what you’ve entered. So yeah try to start as soon as you can lmao.
  9. I got my email and we have so much to get done before orientation ?
  10. I got in as well!! Congratulations to all of us
  11. Hey guys, I also applied this cycle. I'm a current FIU student, 3.8 GPA overall, 4.0 science, 86 on TEAS, and about 500 hours (including a leadership position at FIU). I think everyone that has posted has pretty good stats but I know it's stressful nonetheless. I've heard from a current senior nursing student that if you have a gpa of 3.75+, a teas score of 85+, and some volunteer hours, you are basically automatically accepted. From what I've checked on previous forums and current students' instas, the acceptance letters tend to go out 3rd week of May.
