Miami Baptist Health Nurse Residency, 2021

Published

Hey guys! I recently applied to Baptist Health Nurse Residency in Miami for the Fall 2021 cohort and I just wanted to create a form of communication for those who have applied as well! I assume we will not hear back for a while, considering it just opened, but if anyone has applied or heard back feel free to share here! ?

Hello, I've completed both rounds of interviews for the Critical Care unit and was wondering if anyone has received a call back for a job offer. I had my panel interview on June 9th. I'm getting worried ?

Do you remember what questions were asked during the interviews?

Is doing a residency worth it? Do you get paid the same as a full time nurse? Do you have to sign a contract do a residency?

A residency is a transition plan for a new graduate nurse over their first year of experience. It may not be optional, as many facilities are accredited residency programs and attendance is mandatory. As for being required to sign a contract, that is dependent on the facility.

Do you get paid the same as a full time RN or would your pay be different during this residency? Also how long is the program?

These are facility specific questions. I am familiar with residency programs, but not the one for this particular facility. You will want to pose these questions to the recruiter or HR contact.

Pay is *** $29.50 base plus differentials

we can fight as nurses and get this increased only if we all stand together. They make you sign a 2 year contract
