Hey guys! I recently applied to Baptist Health Nurse Residency in Miami for the Fall 2021 cohort and I just wanted to create a form of communication for those who have applied as well! I assume we will not hear back for a while, considering it just opened, but if anyone has applied or heard back feel free to share here! ?

A residency is a transition plan for a new graduate nurse over their first year of experience. It may not be optional, as many facilities are accredited residency programs and attendance is mandatory. As for being required to sign a contract, that is dependent on the facility.

Do you get paid the same as a full time RN or would your pay be different during this residency? Also how long is the program?
