Did not see a topic made for this year's cycle so I thought I would create one. Looking forward to replies!

Is there a deadline on when to tell the school if you're committing to going?

Hi everyone,

Super late! Congratulations to everyone who’s been accepted into the program. Of all the Boston Programs MGH was my top choice! I got into the FNP track! I am so excited to begin this journey with you all!

It should say it on your acceptance letter! Mine is by April 17th that I have to send in my deposit.

Does anyone know the semester schedule and times, for example, do we have class everyday 9am-5p or select days/times and clinicals on others/etc.?

Thanks!

Anyone also apply to Vanderbilt and have reasons why you chose MGH other than a bigger scholarship from MGH?

It is my understanding that you either receive 25,50,75, or 100% of the tuition

Does anyone know after we complete the RN portion if we work before completing the NP part? Or is it straight into it?

It's straight into it but most of my class mates got jobs while doing the rest of the program. We graduate May of next year.

Does anyone know if the grad plus loan can be used to cover living costs? Also how do you go about the process of getting coverage for living costs and can that only be applied to renting an apartment or can it be applied to a mortgage if you have one?

I am 99% sure they do for rent. The mortgage question is a tricky question. This reminded me out of curiosity is anyone looking for an apartment? I am leaving my two bedroom and moving back home.
