Did not see a topic made for this year's cycle so I thought I would create one. Looking forward to replies!

Congrats! Did you guys just get an email or was it earlier today?

Thanks, I got the email earlier today.

Does anyone know after we complete the RN portion if we work before completing the NP part? Or is it straight into it?

Straight into it. On the website there are sample curriculums for each track and it’s pretty clear on there. The only DEN program that I looked into that did that was Northeastern.

Also Regis college allows you to switch to part time for the MSN so that you can work part time as an RN

I’m planning on working full time the whole time if I can ??✊? May the odds be ever in my favor.

Oh my god! Goodluck!! I’m planning on staying per diem at my job and then hopefully doing per diem as an RN after we finish the first part of the program!

I worked full time as an undergrad. I always considered it a huge mistake. I made life way harder than it had to be and probably cost myself money in the long run. This will be the first time since 8th grade I won’t be working during school.

Thanks for being so helpful and informative! Could you share with us what the average cohort size looks like per track?

Sorry for the delay... roughly 20 students per track on average, some have a few more, some a few less

I'd really advise against that, honestly, unless you have a VERY flexible work schedule...

You go right into it, but many students work as RNs once they get out of prelicensure. The schedule does lighten up a bit after the first three semesters. They encourage you to get a part-time job as a tech as well after the first or second semester (at MGH, they accept the first semester coursework as equivalent to a CNA license for those jobs).

Hey guys! I just got my acceptance email for Acute Care! CONGRATS to those who have already been accepted!

Does anybody know the deadline for prerequisite coursework before the semester starts?

Thank you :)

Congratulations! I am in acute care, I was accepted last month, I recieved an email a few days after my acceptance with a list of what prereqs I’m missing still and it says in that email they need to be completed prior to the start of classes, no official date given but I know classes start in September so I would assume finishing them no later than August 15th/20th or so to give time for your grades to be put in and what not but that’s just a guess!
