Hi There!

Thought I'd start a thread for anyone applying for Fall 2018 entry. I'm about 3/4 of my way through the application and feeling a bit anxious and nervous about it all but mostly excited! :)

Hey everyone, I am a little late joining the party but just wanted to stop in and let others know that I was accepted however I did not get my letter until I reached out to admissions. I got emails inviting me to the open house and an email from financial aid and was like woahh what is going on here I haven't even heard from the school if I was accepted or not. Turns out they sent me an email but it did not go through so for those still waiting to hear back make sure there wasn't any mishap!! Excited to meet everyone. Will you all be attending the open house in march?

I don't know if this was discussed earlier or not but do you guys have a ballpark of what tuition would cost?

I did some quick math earlier. Including tuition, health insurance, fees, and matriculation costs, you're looking at a total cost of $145,378 for all 3 years. My calculation doesn't factor in the potential increase of tuition cost each year and doesn't include cost of books.

I was set on Columbia, but then MGH offered $90,000 in scholarships and now I am torn.

Oh my gosh that's a great offer. I'd be swaying to MGH given that!!

It says that we have until March 16th to pay our deposits

Does it specify how much the deposit has to be? I am waitlisted and just curious to how much I will have to pay if a spot opens up.

They sent out emails today.

I called the office today and they said that they sent out the first round of emails - for applicants who submitted by the 1/1 deadline or around that time point. They are still reviewing those submitted for/around 2/1.

Does anyone know any previous students that have shared their experiences about MGH's program? The website lacks so much information! I'm not sure if public transportation would suffice for all the clinical placements or if we're awarded both a BSN and an MSN.
