MGH IHP DE NP 2018

Published

Hi There!

Thought I'd start a thread for anyone applying for Fall 2018 entry. I'm about 3/4 of my way through the application and feeling a bit anxious and nervous about it all but mostly excited! :)

I'm not sure anyone has set up a community facebook page yet but hopefully soon!

Waitlisted for Pediatrics

For the people accepted .. what are your backgrounds and experience?! Congrats to all! Hoping I get off the waitlist for peds

I've been accepted for acute care gerontology and plan on going! I'm graduating this year from Westfield state with my bachelors in biology and a minor in psych. Can't wait to meet you all!

I was accepted to peds and planning on attending. Graduated from undergrad with BS in Molecular Biology and BA in Child Psych. Graduated with a Master of Public Health last year. 3 years of experience in hospital administration.

That's great! I'm still waiting to hear back from some other programs but this is one of my top choices. Hopefully we'll be classmates cause I'm in for acute care too:) I'm from NYC and look forward to moving to MA.

I'm from MA, but I live too far to commute so I'll be moving closer to the city!

I'm thrilled to be joining everyone on campus! I'm in the Psych track. For those asking for background, I've been in the medical field since 2000 with experience in both private practice and hospitals as well as being ex military/corpsman/medic. Psych undergrad work previously 3.85 overall gpa 4.0 prereqs

For anyone planning to go, there is a roommate search tool to find apartments and other things through MGH thats a super useful tool!

I was accepted for PNP! I completed my undergrad in business and will be completing my MPH program this May. I'm also currently working full time in finance.
