Yes that's a good point and probably the best way to look at the situation. It's just a waiting game now, we did our best. Fingers crossed!

Yes you're all very right. My only concern is the diversity statement. But yes, it is out of our hands now and all we can do is be patient :) good luck to everyone! Hopefully we will all be meeting in January :)

Hi Everyone,

I also applied to the MGH program for January 2018 and applied in early June for the July 1st deadline. I got an email that I am under review and anxiously checking NursingCas for updates, today did anyone log on and prompt you to "reapply"? I was so nervous this was a sign I did not get in but had not received any emails from MGH. Did everyone get this because NursingCas opened up a new application cycle? I am stressing out and just want an answer!

I just logged into NursingCAS and noticed the same thing. I am unable to view the "status" of my application. I'm hoping it's just because of the new application cycle!

Okay phew, I thought it was a sign I had to reapply that I didn't get in! Do you know how we are going to be notified I am so nervous I am going to miss an email or go to junk or get a letter in the mail!

According to past threads, we will be emailed in September saying that our decision will be ready at a certain time of that day. We will either receive a link or will have to log in to our accounts to view it :)

If it makes anyone feel any better, yesterday marked the 8 week mark since the deadline. Less than 2 weeks to go!

I haven't received an email stating my application is under review. Should I be worried? I submitted mine in beginning/mid July..

iamjessica - did you receive any email about your application being "ready" to review? I received it on August 17th.

Hey HC945512, I haven't.. I submitted mine on NursingCAS and I even downloaded the application to keep for my records. But I can't see it anymore since it's a new application cycle. Yikes!

I definitely would not hesitate to call or email the admissions office to confirm that they have your application. However, I believe it is normal to not be able to see our applications on NursingCAS due to the new cycle opening. I can't see mine either. It made me nervous at first. I'm sure they have it!

I should probably know the answer to this question, but how will the admissions committee notify us about decisions? NursingCAS? E-mail? Snail mail? I know we probably won't hear anything until after Labor Day, but I'm starting to get REALLY nervous now.
