Is anyone else applying for the MGH IHP ABSN January 2018 cohort?

If so, care to stress out with me? :)

Well, at the very least, you're all done with the application and it's out of your hands now! I'm *just* finishing up my Microbiology prereq so I'm not quite done with my application yet. I wish I hadn't gotten so down to the wire, but it couldn't be helped as I just finished up my first degree in May!

Congrats on your degree! I finished mine as well. Also, MGH allows you to apply with one prerequisite outstanding as long as it is complete before the program start date. Is microbio your last prereq?

Thank you and congrats to you, as well! Where did you get your first degree from? I got mine at UMass Amherst in Healthcare Administration. Sadly, micro is not my last prereq! I also have to take A&P II which I will be starting as soon as I get micro completed. I should be done in 4 weeks or so. Then it's just a waiting game! Eek!

I finished mine at Bridgewater State. Micro is my final prereq that I'll be completing the second half of the summer starting in July. Yes, it is definitely just a waiting game now. So stressful! Did you attend the info session at MGH?

I'm actually finishing up Micro right now and I am really enjoying it. Yes, I attended the info session in the spring, although the exact date escapes me! If you went to Bridgewater I'm guessing you're on the south shore too?

I also went in the spring. And I am approximately 45 minutes from the city.

Hi there, I have applied also for the January start date. The professional transcript entry is the only thing I'm waiting on now. Anxiously waiting for the process to be over! Do you think decisions will be faster this year (before middle of September) because IHP went through NursingCAS?

I didn't even think of that. I hope you're right! I feel like the waiting is the most stressful part!

Yes I submitted my application at the beginning of June. The deadline was originally July 1st but was then extended to July 15th.
