Hello! The admissions requirements website was updated recently. When I applied in June, the personal statement was suggested to be 2 pages in length single spaced. As for the diversity statement, I'm not entirely sure. I included it anyways. Hope this helps!

I noticed the diversity statement last week and didn't know if that was required!? Interesting how it wasn't there before and I already submitted my application! Any insight would be great.

I applied in June, but I started my application long before that and the diversity statement was always there.

Hey guys! I know it was already mentioned above but did admissions officially announce that decisions would be sent out based on how early the application was submitted? Also on my application the diversity statement wasn't an attachment, there was just space for it to be written in. How long did each of you write in your diversity statement? The wait is definitely stressing me out big time! Also did you apply to other schools as well?

Yes I just received the email notifying me my application is now under review. I applied June 6th.

Hey guys! I know it was already mentioned above but did admissions officially announce that decisions would be sent out based on how early the application was submitted?

As far as I know, all of the decisions are sent out at the same time. I do not think that the admissions department made any announcement stating otherwise. If you look back on past threads such as this one for earlier cohorts, it seems as though everyone found out around the same time in early September.

When I filled out my application the diversity statement was just to be C&P'ed into a text box. It drove me nuts because it changed my formatting, but oh well! :)

This is the only program I applied to.

Edited to add: Also, I received an e-mail stating that my application is under review on Thursday.

I also received that email. I am starting to get very anxious about when we will find out. I applied in late June and then the application date was pushed back. Do you think we won't know till later because of that?

God, I hope not! I feel as though my ability to plan my life is on hold until I find out whether or not I have been accepted into the program! I can't make any plans past December! :)

Do you live locally? I'm always surprised by how many people apply from out of state and have to relocate! That would be some serious additional stress!

The admissions committee confirmed that decisions will still be sent out the end of August/early September! However, based on past threads, most applicants found out around mid September. I'm hoping since our applications went through NursingCAS this year that maybe it will make the process easier on the committee and we will find out sooner! :)

I completely agree about the whole planning out life part. I also do live locally.
