MGH BSN 2012

Hi all! Anyone else out there apply for the MGH Accelerated BSN class starting in January of 2012? I've read that some people who were waitlisted for the cohort starting this month were offered spots in the Jan 2012 class, so I'm wondering how many people were offered and accepted that option... hopefully that doesn't cut down on the spots available too significantly. But, I also wonder if not as many people were aware they opened up this new class, so maybe fewer applicants?? Or maybe that's just wishful thinking :)

I called the admissions office yesterday and they ASSURED me those of us who applied by the original deadline will hear within the original time frame. Thank god, because otherwise that seems really unfair, that even if we were a month late with our application we'd be reviewed the same as those who were on time. Fingers crossed!

9 weeks as of tomorrow...I've never been so excited when the mailman comes. Who else is bummed that the Monday holiday means no mail for two days instead of just one? :)

I go back and forth between excitement and pit-in-my-stomach anxiety. I hope it's good news when it comes!!!

Me too!! The suspense is killing me!! I have a feeling that it's going to arrive this week or once they stop accepting applications.

Anyone heard anything? I almost called the admissions office today but didn't want to bug them... they're probably getting tons of calls!

Haha, I DID call the admissions office today (Sunday will be 10 weeks after all), but no one was in the office. I'm wondering if it was shut down for the week of the 4th. I should probably stop bugging them, but I feel like at this point we have all waited the maximum that they told us to expect, so we're free to phone bank them until we get some results :)

It's comforting to know that we're still all in the same boat, but I just can't believe it's taking this long.

I called admissions and they said they plan on sending them out next week!!!! I'm sooo nervous and excited.... hoping for some fantastic news!! Best of luck to all of you!
