MGH BSN 2012

Hi all! Anyone else out there apply for the MGH Accelerated BSN class starting in January of 2012? I've read that some people who were waitlisted for the cohort starting this month were offered spots in the Jan 2012 class, so I'm wondering how many people were offered and accepted that option... hopefully that doesn't cut down on the spots available too significantly. But, I also wonder if not as many people were aware they opened up this new class, so maybe fewer applicants?? Or maybe that's just wishful thinking :)

I've been a nervous wreck all week! Every time the mailman comes, I had to take a deep breath just to walk to the mailbox!!

Good to know someone actually talked to the admissions office and got confirmation that decisions will be mailed next week. Hope everyone gets good news!! Keep us all posted!

me too! Every time I come home and check the mail I get really anxious...I think my fiancee just wants to know as well because I'm sure I'm horrible to be around right now!

I just called and she practically cut me off before saying "this week"...

Well, at least the website finally doesn't say they are still accepting applications anymore! This is getting unbearable!! AAAGGGHHHH!!!

I saw the same thing today! I was going to flip if it still said accepting applications....

it does still say accepting applications if you go to the school of nursing then go to academics and then click on Accelerated BSN. But does not if you click on admissions

How is everyone feeling???? Do you all think the way they extended the deadline, helps or hurts us? It seems as if they did not have enought "quailifed" applications? what ever that means!

You're right - it does say it there! Crazy!!

But if you click the link that says they are still accepting applications, it takes you to the page that says Application Deadline is November 1 for Spring 2012. So, I guess they just forgot to update that page.

I'm hoping that this is good news for those of us who got our applications in on time. Maybe a smaller pool from which to draw accepted applicants? Anyway, all we can do is wait!!

Wow, no news yet? I'm getting impatient - I wonder if it's going to arrive this week or next.
