My application still says "application is complete for review"...hopefully Monday if not today we will hear. I'm tempted to send an email and check-in

Hi all - we didn't find out until about almost 11 weeks after submission last time. So we probably have until the end of next week to hear back. Also - your status doesn't change on the app. It stays application complete for review. You get an email saying when the decision will be available on the application, then you log on and click the link with the decision letter. Good luck!! :)

Thanks for the info! This is really cutting things short - I'm supposed to be starting an ASN program the 20th. Yikes!

From other forums it seems like scholarship info is in the letter as well though too, correct? Does anyone know?

I hope we hear this week! This is the 11th week so I feel like they must be getting ready to release the decisions!

Hi SKay226! I heard back on a weekday-- I want to say like a Tuesday or Wednesday... and I also remember that it was a week or so after I had expected to hear. There was some sort of delay and I remember that other people were like me and were very anxious to hear SOMETHING and kept calling the admissions office for an update. That doesn't mean that will happen this go around-- but just so you have a heads up. :)

You can't even get through to someone on the phone - they just have them shut off with a generic message. I'm just anxious because I have to withdraw from another school soon if I don't want to lose money...and MGH is my top choice.

their website says on FAQ not to call about application status.

Good thing they have their phones off then! I would never leave a voicemail asking a question like that. I know they must be inundated as it is. Classes started up yesterday so everything must be crazy over there.

In previous threads for MGH ABSN someone had said they spoke to someone on the phone - only reason I even tried in the first place.

Last years thread ('14) they heard on the 16th...and in 2013 they heard on the 13th. So it definitely is between now and Friday.

Don't feel bad about calling. I don't remember seeing anything about no calls allowed, and obviously a bunch of people didn't see it either, because I remember a whole bunch of people calling when the responses were slightly delayed for the Spring 2015 cohort. There's probably a push to get the acceptance info out there, which is why no one is answering. You'll hear soon!! Good luck!! :)
