Merritt College Fall 2014 Applicants

Hello!

Haven't seen a thread yet about Merritt Fall 2014, so I figured I'd start one. Has anyone heard whether they've passed Phases 1&2 of the app process yet?

And for the meantime, if you're like me and didn't know what your chancellor's score was, this site has an excel doc that will calculate it for you :) http://nursing.yccd.edu/chancellors-formula.aspx

I got an email yesterday stating that I didn't meet the prerequisites for the lottery. So it seems like by now you should have heard from them regardless of whether you got into the lottery or not.

I did not get any e-mail. The last email I got was that the lottery will be the 3rd. Its so frustrating not knowing...

I think you will be in lottery soon. But I am curious what's the lottery process?

I know the orientation is for sure on the 7th of July(less than a week) at 9am for those that get in and alternates. :) Good luck guys!

Thank you Cristina417!! I actually was told today the Lottery is tomorrow and we will be notified by end go business tomorrow... Good Luck Everyone!!! It's too bad that the orientation is so last minute, especially if you are away on vacation?...

But it said the lottery would be on July 3, 2014. How come you say that will be held on Tomorrow?

I am confused too lol. Either the person was mixed up when they said it was tomorrow (thinking tomorrow was the 3rd), or they changed it to tomorrow so that they can give notice before the long holiday weekend.

Are you still waiting to hear? Is this your first year applying?

yes. Because I am waiting for the result too. This is the first time to apply for Merritt College. Are applying for another college?

I got into one up north but I'd rather go to Meritt so that I don't have to move. Do you live near Oakland?
