Merritt College ADN 2011

Hello All,

I was accepted to Merritt College's ADN program starting Fall/11 and wanted to know who else may be attending. Im really nervous about their program because of all the bad reviews. Is it just a matter of unhappy people are more likely to complain and there are people out there who are happy with the program? If anyone in the program has any advice id surely appreciate it. Thanks!

there was not law and ethics book listed. I am pretty sure material will be provided. Yes the course is online...

How is everyone doing on the reading?

The reading is a lot to digest (to say the least), I made it to chapter 17 and haven't picked up the book in the last week or so. I've been trying to get my life in order before the program begins. I went and registered earlier this week.

Has anyone found the information that we are supposed to download and bring to class the first day (handbook and syllabus)? I sent the office an email because I wasn't able to find it on the website, but no one replied to my message! I am not a last minute person and need to print it out over the weekend to allow for printer errors, ink running out, etc. I'm really not trying to print it on my way out the door super early Monday morning:confused:

Please let me know if anyone has information about. Thank you...

edits were made the website yesterday and the old student handbook was removed. I can only assume they are working on getting it up by (hopefully) tomorrow.

I know tell me about it DreamRN you're reading my mind. I send them a message too no reply. I think Chris is right perhaps they still working on it, they are fully aware of what's going on. Good job on the reading, I got to chapter 14 but now I figured it would be best to start all over again coz none of the information really stuck. See you guys in class Monday morning :D

I guess that it's not working with ADN program. :lol2:They don't like to replay on e-mails and refer us to the wrong places to get info. Now they sent e-mail that all stuff on the Moodle/why didn't they tell it earlier? On Moodle, not on ADN/, but the problem is that this site is under reconstruction and gonna start working on Monday. What's the time?Nobody knows

I was able to sign onto moodle. The syllabus and handouts were not uploaded though.

I just checked to be sure. Moodle is up and running. did you get an error message?

yes,i 've just done with it, but u are right-no syllabus etc

So they sent out an email with the files to be downloaded. The files are very large, one of them (the hand-book) has 72 pages, the other (the syllabus) has around 60 pages...Do we really need to print that many pages? Can we just download the files to the computer and take the computer to class?
