Mercy Hospital (Miami) LPN-RN

Hello everyone,

I'm looking into bridging into this program and wanted to know if there are any students out there (current or former) that would be able to provide information for this program. Such as quality of program, difficulty getting in, etc.... I do know that they are now accredited by ACEN. Any information would be great.

Can one compete for the full range of Nursing Jobs when one graduates from the Miami Mercy LPN-RN Program ? ?

Hi All, Looking for feed back on experience at Miami Mercy and for job prospects after.

Do you feel like you are getting well trained? Particular strenghts..particular weak areas of the training?

What are employment options like on graduation? Are great jobs in high paying hospitals are availalble you?

Can one compete for the full range of Nursing Jobs when one graduates from the Miami Mercy LPN-RN Program ? ?

Does anyone know about getting into Maternity or Mother-Baby Nursing ?

What data does the program start in August? ! ?

Hi All,

Anyone entering the LPN program with limited hospital experience? ....i.e. basic nursing assistant - vital signs....etc.

Well hopefully you have heard something, called the school twice since last week and was told the admissions committee still hasn’t decided and as soon as the decisions made we will receive an email. Ugh I hate this unknown. Like I paid my deposit I deferred from May till August but have no clue anything further.

Girl you and I both . I hate not knowing . I want to know already. I also called and they told me the same thing . That the admission committee hasn’t met yet . August is right around the corner and they need to speed things up

How have you decided on Mercy? What are the specifics of the program that you like ? ? What do you want to do in the end?

How/ Why exactly did you decide upon the Mercy program above all the other nursing programs available?

What are the particular aspects of the program that have caused you to decide on Mercy ? ?

What are you hoping to do once you finish? What kind of nursing ?

btw: Are you already an LPN? .... or are you starting at the very beginning with the LPN program?

Hey there!! I decided on mercy because they are cheap and accredited. Not sure where I want to go into nursing specifically but I’ll see but I will cross that bridge when I get there. I’m waiting for admission to get back to me about the start date . I don’t know the start date but I know it’s sometime in August. You should call the school to find out when the next date of enrollment is

What are you expecting to pay? per year?

Are you doing just the RN program ( you are already an LPN?)

or are your going for the complete 2 years

Are you already from MIami? I have heard that MIami is expensive, especially in the area of the school. How are you navigating that? Are you going to try to work during the program?
