Mercy Hospital (Miami) LPN-RN

Hello everyone,

I'm looking into bridging into this program and wanted to know if there are any students out there (current or former) that would be able to provide information for this program. Such as quality of program, difficulty getting in, etc.... I do know that they are now accredited by ACEN. Any information would be great.

Idk I run the report and it says rn applicant and on applicant idk if that's it's.

Oh I'm Sorry The Extrance Exam I took Was for the brige program so it may be different for LPN

I applied for the Program that starts August 2019 . I know that the deadline for applicants is June 26th 2019. Did u already find out that u were accepted ?

I was accepted for the May start but had to defer till August. Just haven’t heard anything regarding the orientation date or official start date so wasn’t sure if they had sent anything out yet.

Ok I see. You should go to the school next week if u still haven’t heard anything. Administration said we are going to find out within a week of the deadline date to see if we’re accepted or not

Did you hear anything? Going to the school Thursday as I haven’t heard. I had paid deposit for May and have confioenail about deferment til the August start.

So I called and spoke to them Friday of last week. They say everyone who applied should know their acceptance status Wednesday July 10th. So yea if u still don’t see anything from them I say go to the school Thursday to see what’s going on because your money is out there.

Hi! I'm considering Mercy RN. I already have a BS-bio, and a MHS-public health. I need a fast and affordable program.

All you graduate RN's of the Mercy Miami - What is the Real Deal ? ? ?

Do you feel well trained as a nurse? Were you well prepared to the NCLEX? Most importantly what are the types of jobs one most likely to be competitive for? Do you have the full range of options? e.g. Peds, Maternity, ER, Med-Surg., Orthopedics, Mental Health, Mother-Baby .. What are you doing? What are your co-graduates doing ? I'm all ears !!!

Also - When does the program actually being in August? What is the start date?
