Just wanted to start this thread for those who want to discuss the versant program for summer. Has anyone heard from them. I got a call about going further in the interview process.

Well according to HR, they will be making decisions very soon on who will be selected to go on to the assessments, interview process, etc. So if your application is still says HR review, your status ahould change soon. I wish they would give a specific time frame, but I am waiting for a hopeful response as well.

oh ok i was a bit worried there. mine still says HR review too, and i already finished the online assessments. hopefully things turn around soon; i'm seriously considering going for another bachelor's degree, but in a different healthcare field.

I live in Bakersfield and most of my class got interviews and many got offers already. The last person (that I know of) to interview was last Friday and she was told that all final decisions will be made by today. They are having people come in to sign contracts today and early next week. So it looks like the hiring is over for Mercy...

On the bright side, I know of at least 3 people who were offered jobs and declined them today. So hopefully that will open up a few more spots :)

I agree. It doesn't seem like any of the hospitals really care too much though. I mean, their so oversaturated with new grads that they are probably receiving tons of calls, emails, etc. So for them I guess the ones not chosen are not their priority. But I agree with you, that would've been the nice thing to do!
