Hello, I am currently enrolled at Mercy college ( BS PSYCH) upon completion I hope to apply to the accelerated nursing program. I contacted the school for more information, they recently told me applications for the Summer program are due march 1st 2021 (I graduate in may) which means for the Summer I will be deferred until later semesters if accepted anyway.
I am wondering if anyone have any details into the program? Looking to apply in the near future ect.
My pre requisite grades are not the best but I hope I get in.

A&P I ....... A
A&P II....... B
MICRO......B+
DEV. PSYCH ......B+
CHEM......C+ ( I struggled terribly with this course and it has been my lowest science grade )
STATS.....A-
NUTRITION.....A-
because this is my first semester at mercy, I don't have a current GPA but I hope it makes the mark....

It is $20734 dollars for the year. Total cost is around $55,000 adjusted for annual increase. Plus another $6000 for book and supplies. You're looking at grand total of 60k-62k for 5 semesters
My understanding is that Mercy is Accredited. I also got accepted into LIU, I've picked my classes out and all; however, Mercy is closer to me. I just got Mercy's acceptance Friday, and I paid the deposit. I am just waiting to register for the classes, and speak with a counselor to make my final decision between both schools.

Has anyone registered for classes yet? I got my acceptance Friday, paid my deposit, got access to Connect.mercy.edu; However, I don't know how to go about registering for classes. I am confused on what the letters for each day stand for; I see M, R,T, and F.

I think the admissions counselor is supposed to reach out to us when it's time to register. I emailed them a couple weeks ago after I put down my deposit asking for the next steps and was told we'd be in touch soon. Also, the letters are the days of the week!
I also applied for this program for the fall 2021. I will be joining the program starting in September, anyone else joining?? How are you feeling about the program??
Congratulations to everyone that got accepted into the ABSN. I wish everyone a successful semester and a great experience as well. I have some questions and concerns regarding the Fall 2021 ABSN program. I applied back in February. I recently graduated in May 2021. I have completed all the required prerequisites. However, I was told that I was a great candidate for the Fall 2021 cohort but, I would need to have my degree in by April. I was advised to move my application to Spring 2022. However, I have another friend that was in the same university as me, taking the same classes as me as well, and we are the same majors, and she was accepted into the accelerated nursing program as well for the fall 2021 although her degree would not be in by April. I have spoke with some people from Mercy but, they are saying that it can't be true because they have a certain deadline. Does anyone know who I could get into contact with regarding this?

From what I understood, they pull candidates as spaces become available. Such as, people who got accepted but declined the seat or people who accepted the seat but later withdrew. In your friend's case, she might have deferred her application to Spring but then seat became available and she was pulled back in. They would only do this if she met the graduated requirement. Ask her if she updated her transcript before they accepted her. They run the applications at the same time prioritize GPA then science courses grade then date of application.
Question! I was told that I could not defer my application to Spring 2022 but instead I have to reapply when the application open in August.(I was finishing up my prerequisites this semester). Was anyone who had an incomplete application able to defer it to Spring 2022..
Also, People who got in, can ya please share your stats!
