Hello, I am currently enrolled at Mercy college ( BS PSYCH) upon completion I hope to apply to the accelerated nursing program. I contacted the school for more information, they recently told me applications for the Summer program are due march 1st 2021 (I graduate in may) which means for the Summer I will be deferred until later semesters if accepted anyway.
I am wondering if anyone have any details into the program? Looking to apply in the near future ect.
My pre requisite grades are not the best but I hope I get in.

A&P I ....... A
A&P II....... B
MICRO......B+
DEV. PSYCH ......B+
CHEM......C+ ( I struggled terribly with this course and it has been my lowest science grade )
STATS.....A-
NUTRITION.....A-
because this is my first semester at mercy, I don't have a current GPA but I hope it makes the mark....
For those accepted, when did you apply? I’m hopeful they’ll release more decisions. I have not heard back from any of the schools I applied to yet and getting so nervous again.
I got accepted on wends. I was wondering... does anyone know how many seats are available in the fall cohort? My friend's application was deffered to Spring 2022. She was devastated, since four of us started our journey at the same time. She was the only one to be left out. I haven't set up anything yet beside paying the $250 deposit. Congratulations!! My name is Herlinda, I also applied to the second degree accelerate Nursing program at Mercy for fall 2021. I am eager to hear back. Should I look out for a phone call, or will they be emailing acceptance letters as well?
Hi, I asked (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) the same question before. He stated if you got accepted they will call. If you got rejected or put on a waitlist they will notify at a later time. But he didn't specify the when for each scenario. Hope that helps.

Great Idea! I will Join the group. Regarding your friend... that worries me!! I hope they applied to a few other schools. When did they tell them that? I called today and made my deposit but they didn’t say anything about pushing it to the Spring. I hope I don’t get pushed for the Spring cohort. ????

It does not change... you only receive a notification via email or the portal that there is an update

I applied in the fall and just got my acceptance yesterday. I’ve already committed to a different school tho.
