Merced College FA 2021/ SP 2022 Applicants

Who knows when the link will be available and how we should be preparing right now. Has anyone sent anything yet? TEAS scores, transcripts, other documents????

Just want to get an idea of what people are applying with points-wise. I have 68 Pts this year. I wish everyone the best of luck! :)

I will be applying with 79 points. Although, I haven't heard back yet on if they are going to let me substitute my upper division math. Fingers crossed! Good luck to you!

I’m applying to other schools and get the points mixed up! So I’m going to check later! LOL

Yess!! In one I applied with 83 and another one it’s like 72 I believe. And the other one I’m not sure LOL. It’s so crazy!! I know of many people getting pulled from lottery so there is so much hope for all of us ❤️

I know I was not on the high points because I did apply with 2 B’s ( not on science courses) and Merced is mostly lottery so I’m sure I got pulled from the lottery.

So the first 7 weeks we had theory lecture  on Wednesdays online from 8-10 am via zoom, Thursday and Friday’s theory lecture 8-10am and skills from 10am-6pm on campus. Pharmacology has been completely online with no zoom meetings.  This past week our schedule changed,  we will continue pharmacology online  but they did add a few zoom meetings some Wednesdays to help with pharmacology. Wednesdays we will still continue with our theory lecture online 8am-10am and right after theory we will have post conference online from our previous week of our clinical day as we have  started clinicals already. Thursday’s we are having theory lecture from 8-10am on campus and right after that we go to the hospital to research our patient, go home and prepare paperwork for the next day. Friday’s we have clinical and we are at the hospital from 6:30am to 6:30pm. It seems like it’s only Wednesday-Friday but  the rest of the week is also busy with reading, assignments, and quizzes online.

Does anyone know if there is a certain amount of points that you need in order to be consider for the lottery selection?

I'm not sure. I read through everything they have posted and I didn't see an amount. I would be interested to know though.

I live an hour from Merced so it is furthest from me. So far this is the only school I have seen that wanted transcripts submitted before the Application opened up. I have two classes not on the grid so hopefully I can get something worked out! Thank you for the help! 

Wow! 5 schools?!! No wonder you're stressed. I'm applying to 3 and feel utterly overwhelmed.
