So I am supposed to be scheduled for MEPS soonish. I have signed up for 2 different dates, both of which have been canceled. I have a questions though, I am a 25 year old female. I was told a few months ago from my original recruiter that I needed to have all my medical records. However, during the last couple months my recruiter has changed and they have not asked about my medical records and I have not given them to them. I have also been told a lot of inaccurate information from my new recruiter as well.
My question is this: Do I need to take my last gynecological exam with me to MEPS? I also was told I needed to have proof that they could not find my medical records when I was hospitalized when I was a baby. I have that do I need to take that with me?
Help I feel that my recruiter is setting me up to fail.
The vaccines are more important for your officer basic training and your first duty station; they may prevent you from having to get some of them again. MEPS is more concerned with finding conditions that would prevent you from deploying. Of course, you can never bring too much documentation.
I am hoping some of you are able to help me some questions. I applied into the Airforce NICU board for MArch 2015. All my paperwork is done and submitted. I already had my two interviews for the board, but I am getting so nervous!!
What can anyone tell me about being rejected by the board? What does it take to be thrown out? I know I had incredible interviews with both the chief nurse as well as the NICU chief nurse. What maybe something that any of you had ( I hope no minds to share) Sorry, that they ended up not being selected? What can anyome make better to be selected next time. I know NICU slot are usually open as they tend to be hard to fill
I have about two years of NICU experience, but I was reading on one of the forums here about a nurse who had evan more but did not get selected?
Any words of encouragement??

Recruiters aren't very motivated these days as the ranks are pretty full. I know Navy nursing is overmanned. You should bring your last pap results and any current shots. Also, they will be looking for any documentation needed for a waiver. Your recruiter should be telling you what things may be disqualifying or require a waiver. Basically MEPS will be trying to determine if you are suitable for active duty service i.e. are you deployable? If you can't locate your records--you can't locate them. I wouldn't worry about it unless it relates to some rare serious condition or illness.
