Memorial Hermann New Grad Residency Fall 2017

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hey everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for applicants for the fall 2017 cohort applicants!

I shadowed two units and still haven't heard back or received an email.

Yea I haven't either so I went ahead and emailed the recruiter.

Anyone else get a phone offer from Children's but haven't received an official offer letter? I've called and emailed my recruiter and haven't gotten a response back.

Never mind. I got my official offer letter!

Does anybody know our start day for TMC residency?

From my conversation with the preboaring HR rep October 9th.

I was told October 23rd but the recruiter I talked to seemed unsure.

I'll take either day lol just want to start earning a pay check again.

I'll be in the Neuro IMU.

Same! I know different departments start on different days, but I would love to start early October.

Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me be prepared for pre-match day/match day. Does anyone remember how the process went for each and what types of questions they asked ?

Thank you so much! I graduate December 2017

For my department (neuro imu) it was a group interview. I can barely remember what all he asked but you only answered 2-3 questions. There's online practice type interview questions that can give you an idea. It may vary department to department. Definitely gonto prematch day and you can meet some of the managers from the different service lines.

Hi everyone, I graduated from Lone Star in May 2017. I'm still looking for a job. I've been to two interviews with nothing, I've applied multiple positions since then. I also applied to Memorial Hermann residencies for both Summer and Fall, didn't even get called in for a match day interview. My question is for those who have been hired by Memorial Hermann, are yall BSNs or ADNs? I think I'm having a hard time finding a job because I only have my associates's degree. I'm enrolling in an online RN-BSN program in January but a lot of good that does me right now. I didn't think it would be this hard to find a job. Any advice anyone can give me, I would appreciate it.

Just a question of curiosity - were ya'll able to apply for these new grad residencies BEFORE you graduate? If I were to graduate December 2018, would I be able to apply for Spring 2019 positions when they open in September 2018?
