Published

Hi all! Starting this thread for all of us new grads who are applying to any of the Memorial Hermann hospitals for the Summer 2017 GN Residency programs!

Let's keep each other updated on emails/match days/how interviews went, etc!!

What location and what specialty have you applied for?!

My #1 choice: MH The Woodlands - ER

Good luck to all of you!!!

Yes I was offered a position yesterday afternoon and they told me they were only accepting 2

Which location and which unit?

I got chosen as an alternate for pedi IMU @ TMC. Hope I get in through it

I'm the other one chosen for pedi IMU! I would love to meet him

Hey! Are you days or nights?:) did they only pick 2 for pedi IMU then?

Congrats to everyone who was called! Has anyone heard from Southeast yet?

They chose 6 for pedi IMU

Got an offer yesterday with the Heart & Vascular Institute at TMC :shy:! Congrats to all others who have gotten offers!

I accepted an offer for the PICU and would love to get in touch with whoever else has!

They chose 6 for pedi IMU

At Southeast?

Hey Tiffany.lane12! Congratulations on getting an offer in the ER! I also interviewed for the position, but I guess I didn't get it :( I felt that the interview went pretty well overall, but I know there were a ton of other applicants. Would you mind giving some insight to your interview? Did you go to pre-match day? I want to take my interview as a positive learning experience and get ready to do better in the next ER interview so any tips to stand out are greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly in advance & all the best of luck to you! :)

I so agree! Congratulations on everyone who was offered a position!!! I would also greatly appreciate any pointers! This was definitely a learning experience for me too. I felt that my nerves got the best of me and it really showed in my interview. I interviewed for the PICU. Any and all feedback/pointers/insight would be greatly appreciated to help me prepare for my next interview! Again, congratulations to all!!! :)
