Hi all! Starting this thread for all of us new grads who are applying to any of the Memorial Hermann hospitals for the Summer 2017 GN Residency programs!

Let's keep each other updated on emails/match days/how interviews went, etc!! :laugh:

What location and what specialty have you applied for?!

My #1 choice: MH The Woodlands - ER

Hi, I applied for the OR at Southwest too for the GN residency to start in October. Match Day is scheduled for today but have not heard anything. Is there still a chance they may contact me after the match day?

I did Match Day on Tuesday for the trauma service line at TMC. I'm a little nervous about how long they'll take to call back? Has anyone heard anything yet?

I applied for the trauma service line too and haven't heard back yet either. Which unit did you interview for? I did Burn ICU

I applied for ortho trauma. Burn ICU is tough! Good luck!

I applied to the burn icu this past Tuesday june 27 and still have not heard anything. The manager at the day of the interview said by the end of next week. My friend who also interviewed for burn icu has not heard anything either. My other friend from the previous semester said she got a call the next day for an offer in ortho trauma. There were not many people who interviewed for burn trauma... the waiting is killing me. Should we email them?

I did burn icu as well (and a classmate of mine) we still have it heard back at all í ½í¸”

I'm gonna give them the weekend and if I still haven't heard something. By Wednesday afternoon I'll email or call. And There were only 5 of us who interviewed on Monday the 26

My friend from the semester before got a call from ortho trauma the day after too. That's why I was expecting for them to call me before the weekend. Last time they didn't even notify me that I didn't get the position (I applied for the gen med unit), I had to call them and ask myself. I think Wednesday is a good follow up day

Just received my verbal offer for NICU at Children's! I had just about lost hope when they called, so don't get discouraged y'all!

I know you posted this response almost a year ago, but I thought it was worth a shot to contact you! Do you remember any of the NICU interview questions you received? Was it a group interview?
