Hi. I wanted to start a thread on Memorial Healthcare Systems Nurse Residency program in Hollywood, FL. I recently applied to the March 2019 cohort and wanted to see if anyone else has!

@New Horizon I called today and its the same message - Some ANMs have not reached out yet. Its also a very competitive program and if we havent been called yet we need to just do whats best for ourselves.

? True. I see that they have listed another 3 Cohort beginning next year, so they are definitely looking for new grads. I was still holding onto hope, because I know someone that got the " we've moved on to other candidates" email and since I did not receive that, I kept my fingers crossed....guess it's time to uncrossed them.

Yea I haven't heard anything yet either. I wish I get that email so at least ill know. But yeah I still be on the look out because it's not over until sept 13 but I'll still do other hospitals like before

@New Horizon I am being realistic. However, since we didnt get those emails... you never know. When did you friend get this email?

Keep your head up, keep your head in the game. Apply to other places with programs.

True, I like to stick to my first option, but now I will start to apply to other hospitals. She received that email around August 15.

I honestly had the WORST experience with memorial HCA as a new grad. Their nurse/patient ratio was insane and staffing was always awful.
