HI everyone! the first time I took my test, I had worked as unlicensed pending in the LTC, then my employer gave me a week off before my first test. I studied until I dropped then next thing you know I started feeling sick on a saturday and I couldn't reschedule my test, cuz my test was that coming monday, so i took it anyway while sick and as a result, I failed.
Now that I'm taking it for the second time, I am very nervous and I'm not sure what to study. Can someone please give me some ideas on how to pass this nclex pn. Also I heard that there are now new tests that comes in "fill in the blank" or "point to the graph"? oh boy...
I haven't been informed about the HURST review, can someone explain to me how i can get that review?
Aww Im sorry to hear that but you know what you went all the way through so you must have done something right, Im not sure if you remember me but I also failed, Im taking the Nclex again on Wed. (25th) and I took the Hurst review its really good, Im hoping Ill pass I will let you know how it goes, but just keep studying dont treat your self bad at least you have the advantage of what to expect! STUDY STUDY STUDY
A lot of people that I have talked to that have passed NCLEX have said that they had at least 1 or 2 of the "new format" type questions, such as the select all that apply. I am wondering, is there anyone who has taken NCLEX recently & passed, but did not get any new format questions?
I know someone who got 2 of those, but failed the test. She thinks she must have been doing well (since she got those type of questions), then thinks she started doing poorly after those questions. Are they a predictor of pass/fail?
Someone also told me that she thought I failed (before I knew my actual results) because I did not get any of those questions on my test. I did fail.
I just got the Barrrons Nclex Pn book, because it said that the disk it came with has an CAT testing version when I popped in the disk everything was fine except for the fact that you cant see the options at all!! I was wondring if anyone had the same problem or if I did this wrong? if anyone could it help it would be great!
Im currently reviewing for my NCLEX PN and I have only seen the red-comprehensive saunders book and Q and A which is blue.... whats the green one you guys are talking about? Is that for RNs?
