"It's Morphine time"
"First flatus after surgery!"
A patient cutting themselves out of their posey bed!
he says april but I took that as pertaining to the applications for feb. There are two other recruiters that tweet but haven't said anything. Hopefully that will change? Doesn't look good though.
One of the nursing recruiters tweeted that there will be no new grad opportunities for feb or april 2013
I am an alternate for an interview this round. Does anyone have experience with this?
I know I LOVED L&D, I haven't started my peds rotation yet (2 weeks) and I think I could be interested there. I'm looking at the peds ER when I graduate... I have no idea. I'm picking my top choices at the end of the semester. What do I choose!?
Quick question on pharm - I know that if you follow the prototype drugs for a class every drug in that class has the same general effect on the body, but -
Is the prototype drug for a class the best drug out of the class to be using for that category?
Thanks for the help!
did anyone get a phone call today?
check out sichange (dot) org!! A lot of my friends volunteers abroad with them and LOVED it! You work promoting HIV awareness and in clinics with HIV/AIDS afflicted patients and family in rural Tanzania. Seriously, check it out.
I'm SUPER interested in applying for Regis...I just don't know if I have a chance ---
So I graduated 07 from a liberal arts university with 3.06 in biology, I probably have around a 3.1-3.2ish in my pre-reqs. B in anatomy B in chem A in micro C in phys B in stats and As and Bs in all the other ones
I was an opthalmic assistant during college, after college I've spent the past 2.5 years working in clinics supporting HIV programs in kenya, worked in perinatal recovery program, and now I volunteer for a hospital and an HIV clinic
I have great letters of rec and could have a good essay..... I just want to be at a jesuit university, I like that they focus on service learning, and of course I want to pass the NCLEX.
Ughhh should I even bother? Any advice would be AMAZING

my question is can I get into any private ABSN programs? Or the traditional route?
Should I retake some pre-reqs I have C's in?
I am looking at Regis, Mount st. mary's, GWU, Villanova, NYU, Samuel Merritt -- or are these schools too far of a reach?
If you don't mind me asking, what were your GPA, healthcare experience, etc? Did they give you a number for the alternate list?
