   That statement is also correct. My original assertion was that when I received the measles vaccine a few years ago, I didn’t have to wear a mask afterwards to do everyday tasks and everyday errands.

   The CDC is making no claims that the way to get back to normal is through vaccine. You still must mask and social distance even after vaccine.
