Hmm, your company sounds exactly how my first home health company did I will start off by saying, there is absolutely nothing wrong with home health. It can be a great learning experience. Just in my case (most likely due to my company), it wasn't. ...

Absolutely don't start working "less carefully and less cleanly". That's how accidents and injuries happen. When I started working as a CNA, I was the exact same way. I was terrified to touch my residents because I was so nervous that I would break t...

I've been a CNA for 2 years and have cared for countless hospice residents. Basically, they will have their good days and they will have their bad days. The good days are where they are alert and oriented and can communicate, help roll side to side/w...

Hahaha yes the next night they gave her something to help her relax and sleep and it worked really well! Much to mine and her nurses' suprise, the next morning she even remembered her husband was in the hospital without asking!

I'm a CNA for a home care agency in northern Arizona and if a client pays through insurance, I make $8.50/hr. If they are private pay (which are few and far between), we make $10/hr.

I am a home care CNA, and for clients that have insurance, I only make $8.50/hr. For the private pay clients (not very many), it is $10/hr. It was very easy for me to find a job, because it seems like home care companies are always looking for CNAs.
I am a home care CNA and on Friday I was bitten by a friend's dog (off the clock). I went to the doctor to get it cleaned out and they gave me antibiotics and said I am fine to work. We also checked the dog's shot records and everything was up to dat...
