Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

I've tried contacting the number stated in her email, but was frustrated to only talk to a customer service representative. I thought I could directly reach her thru phone. Or can the customer service representative transfer calls to the ROs concerned?

Thanks Cucci for your input. Much appreciated :)

Sorry to hear that... I haven't tried contacting an RO. I was trying to find the emails I received when I was processing my AHPRA registration but I have deleted them already.

I have contacted AHPRA's customer service once and they are quite accommodating, although they can only give generic answers because they don't have access to your records.

I hope you asked them to send a note or something to your RO so that she can be alerted to your particular situation.

While it may not do much, maybe just scan those school documents and email them to your RO... if you can ask the school to do so, give it a try. Add a note that the documents are on the way via courier and with a hint that you have been trying to get in touch with her (RO) for the past week or so and you got no reply.

From experience, AHPRA usually provides a tight deadline in accomplishing their requests but they are also quite accommodating with requests for some extension of the deadline as long as you show them that you have done the best you can.

Just curious, what were these documents that you are requested to provide? Normally you should have sent out the TOR, Diploma, PRC results together with the AGOS-40 upon sending your application. Some ROs are insistent that an applicant from the Phils also include the requirements in Criterion 2 and 3 even if these do not apply to nursing graduates of Phil schools.

Thank you, Cucci for taking time to hear out my concern. Yes, I did ask the school to send the documents thru email, atleast the RO can look into them before the due date.

I was required by my RO to submit RLE record in relation to my Master in Nursing qualification (I regret I included it in my application). However, the MN course that I took did not require clinical duties that's why I asked for a certification from the graduate school of the college and a course syllabus as well.

I have also requested for atleast one-week extension for my document due date from my RO since last week, unfortunately, I got no reply from her.

Hi! Is anyone undertaking the EPIQ program of ACN in Sept? Looking for classmates! :)

@julieannekae Hi! When did you submit your application? I'm wondering if it is feasible for me to apply there and get a slot. :)

A good day!

Maam, I would like to know how what did you do with your COE in Oman and from where did you get the good standing certificate? I have worked there before and now I'm gathering the requirements needed. I tried to search online but I just couldn't find any answer from the MOH website.

Thanks a lot. I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi!

Maam, what did you do to have your Oman COE revised and where did you got the good standing certificate? I have worked in Royal Hospital before and in the process of gathering my documents.

Hi Everyone!

I'm a registered nurse in the Philippines. I could not find a decent job as a nurse after passing the board exam so I worked in the BPO industry. I recently decided to try being a nurse in Australia. What do I need to do? Where do I begin?

I quit my BPO job last week and will start working as a dialysis nurse 2 weeks from now. Did I do the right thing? I hope I did haha

I am currently back-reading the older threads related to this one but I hope you can help me. Thanks!

See my post here for some info on the steps to take inorder to be registered as nurse in Australia.

This saves a lot of time for me. Thank you! I will work my way from this.

Hello! My wife is planning on studying in AU and we've already sought AMS Global's assistance and required us with 1year of clinical experience. Currently we are employed as SMEs at a BPO company, roughly 7 years now. The plan is for her to take the bridging program from CQU and they are requiring us first to have the "Referral Letter" from AHPRA. Is it the process in which she needs to request for a COGS from PRC? Appreciate all your help in advance!

Hi. Anyone here who is a Filipino UK RN who has recently applied to AHPRA? I have a few questions to ask please. Thank you. :)

Hi guys! I'm a new member to this forum so please excuse if I have posted a similar topic earlier. I will be in Australia on a partner visa and will be applying for APHRA registration before I can enroll myself to a BP. However, I will be processing it all by myself. Can anyone please explain to me what "Professional Indemnity Insurance Arrangement" is all about? What kind of documents under this section shoud I provide? Need your help badly.
