hi all,
I am new in this forum.I am RN from India. My application is on review under AHPRA. but today i got a mail from my case officer telling
"Thank you for lodging your application for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (the Board). Your application is currently under review.
Under section 85 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory (the National Law), if a Board or its delegate has not made a decision about your application by 5 October 2017, your application will automatically be refused unless an extension of this date is agreed upon.
Given that we would like to provide you with an opportunity to provide a submission once the delegate has made a decision on your application, we propose to extend this date until 29 December 2017.
If you agree to this extension please advise me in writing via reply email by 28 September 2017.
If you have any further questions, please respond to this email or call AHPRA. "
can any body guide me
Hello. My understanding is that you need to agree with the proposed extension date which is on Dec 2017, otherwise it will be automatically refused if no result is received by October.
May i know when did you submit your application?
I hope you get more clarifications from someone who was in the same situation as yours.
this is the link by the way where some applicants have received extension letters.

Hello there! I just wanted to know if is it advisable to lodge an AHPRA Registration application 2-3 weeks before the end of the bridging course? Some of my mates want to register asap while still undegoing the bridging course saying its allowed and they are all thinking that it's better to lodge earlier so that the license will be released on time, but I don't think it makes sense at all since it will still be considered incomplete and the acquisition of a locense might take much longer for them. Any ideas? Thank you.
hello,
its my first time to post in this forum, i am planning to take the bridging program at ACFE hopefully early next year (2018). Anyone here who took their bridging program at ACFE or planning to take their BP at ACFE also? can anyone please share their experience on how to start the application? (like submitting of forms/documents, fees and immunization etc.) thanks in advance
Hello, we have exactly the same timeline. I have sent it on the 24th as well and received the confirmation email on 4th Sept wih my credit card charged on the same day. I would email them, they responded to my query in 2 days.
hello edsel07!
it's nice to find someone in here who is in the same timeline as mine. thank you for your reply. I sent a web enquiry, and finally my RO sent me an email this afternoon asking for additional information. she said Pages 10,11,12 of my AGOS 40 were missing (mainly the reason why I was still not charged for the application fee, since payment details are on page 12). I didnt know this was possible since I made sure all my documents were complete before i sealed the envelope. Anyways, I sent the missing pages immediately. I wouldnt consider this as a good news, but it's better than having no progress at all. I just hope everything will be smooth sailing from here. Any update from your RO?
Hi again. Don't be nervous. Everything will be fine. About my NMC, they actually sent my docs to Australia on 21 August. Until now, the tracking states "on the way to Sydney, Australia." which honestly is kind of upsetting especially they said it should be with AHPRA after 15 business days.I asked my uni to submit certified copy of my course description with placement hours, medicine management certificate and accreditation letter. :) I just can't understand the two weeks they have given me since London is more than a thousand miles away from Australia than the Philippines. And they usally give 30 days to them.
Keep me updated too :)
Hi ohnodimple. I received an email from my RO and she is asking for my COGS (i think the one from NMC but as per tracking, it is on it's way) and my UNi docs. I have until Oct 24 to comply.
With regards to criterion 3, did your Uni provide the document or you have to chase the authority or agency that accredited the module/course?
Criterion 3: Evidence of program of study accreditation: please complete the document provided in the link below. Send this document to the independent professional regulatory authority or agency that accredited the program of study you completed and request that they provide the response directly to AHPRA as soon as possible. Request for accreditation evidence - program of study
Thanks!
ohnodimple

How much time did they give you to submit your requirements? You said from third week of January to July? That's a long time! I was only given two weeks.
