Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Published

hi everyone, can someone please help me with regards to the statement of service required by AHPRA. I have actually submitted one, but I was asked by my CO to give a detailed letter that shows the breakdown of roles I have during my employment. I started working as a PCA then became an Enrolled Nurse then Staff Nurse, all with the same employer. I asked my HR for it but they declined to give me a detailed statement, reason given to me was that they follow a standard format and that I am still currently employed. Anyone of you also asked by AHPRA for a detailed statement of service? May I have a sample please?

Hi theamariecanlas!! :) How was your case? Are you based in SG? i too having the same issue.. :(

Hi guys! just received an email from my RO from Perth. Asking me for another COEs with current and past employers with below details which I don't understand since I worked/working full-time. Also, I worked as full-time Staff Nurse for almost 8 years that's why I didn't bother to put the number of hours. Plus my current employer is very strict and when I requested last time, they will not give me a detailed COE. :( I need to try to get another one this week.

COE must haves according to my RO:

-Official employer letterhead - got this

-Dated and signed by a manager - got this but HR manager only

-Position title - got this

-Dates of employment - got this

-Indicate whether your employment is/was a full time or part time - no indication although for me, it's pretty obvious

-Part time or casual employment must indicate the total number of hours worked in the last five years period - i dont have this since my employment is always full-time

By the way, I sent my application from Singapore last Aug 4 via Singpost, I received a confirmation email from AHPRA last Aug 16 then I received the email from my RO (Perth) just today, Sept 4.

Anyone same problem as mine?? which points do you guys think why my COE failed?

Hi, they would probably wanted to know still whether it is a full time or part time employment regardless of your length of employment. Hope you get it sorted the soonest.

Just ask the HR to put full-time on your COE and you should be fine with that.

Hi edsel07. Sorry for the late response. AHPRA has acknowledged receipt of my application on 15 Aug and also charged the application fee to my card on the same date. What about you? Any news? :)

Hi! I have received a confirmation from them on the 4th of Sept and got the fee deducted on the same date. My PH docs have arrived in Aus as per tracking but NMC hasn't even scanned my request for COGS yet. I hope it will get to Ahpra just on time.

Since you're application is ahead of me, pls update on ahpra's decision with yours :)

Good luck to us!:)

hi!

good morning!

I'm new here in this thread.

I just passed my PTE A Exam last week and been gathering the documents needed for my APHRA Registration.

I'm from the Philippines and I am engaged with Philman. Anyone here under Philman too?

Planning to submit my application nextweek. I just need my COE and it will be released today.

Planning to go for FEB Intake ( If God permits)

any advice for what school is great for BP? thanks!

hi kdsapon! since you said that you were engaged with philman, i think the school you can only choose is either ACN or Lonsdale. :)

Anyone for Sep11. intake in ACN Sydney NSW?

Hi @ Moris. We're also for the September 11 intake at ACN. Let's get in touch. What's your email address?

I'm still waiting six months down the line for my application to be accepted by AHPRA :(

Hopefully it will be approved soon.
