I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
Hi. I used this guide for preppin' my CV. Hope this helps.
Hi Everyone!
I've been reading the thread for quite some time now. I am really thankful enough coz I got loads of infos here. Anyways, I got one question to ask.
DO I NEED TO SUBMIT A COPY OF MY PASSPORT TO AHPRA?
I am already here in OZ for more than a year and doing a postgrad course but my passport is expiring this July and to renew it I read that it will take me like 6-8 weeks via Philippine Consulate. Now, my dillema is whether I should wait for the renewed passport or not before submitting my application to AHPRA.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH GOISE! Your response to my query will be highly appreciated. All the best for us here! xoxo

Yes, you will need to submit a certified true copy of your passport as proof of identity. If you really have to apply now, what I will do is, submit a copy of the current one along with documentation that it's in the process of renewal (ie receipt for Renewal of Passport from the PH Consulate). If not, just renew your passport first then lodge your application.
Hi Paul_rn! Do you have any idea if the COGS from PRC has an expiration in terms of validity set by AHPRA? Is it okay to send the COGS and relevant docus from BSN school to AHPRA, like a month before sending your application? Thank you very much!
I'm not Paul hehe but COGS is valid 3 months from date of issue. (It's indicated on the left hand side of Section F: Registration History of the AGOS40). It only takes average 4 days for the document to reach Australia (by express mail via DHL / FedEx, etc) from PH so a month in advance is prolly way early. This is unless you have COGS from other countries, which a different story. I have a US License from Colorado. It took 6weeks before AHPRA received my COGS from Colorado BON. Hope this helps.

Hi again islandgirlsayu! For the record, so are you saying that it is okay for me to have the COGS and school requirements (to be sent to AHPRA directly) processed a month before I submit my application?
Because here is my circumstance. I am based in PH in Bacolod City which unfortunately doesn't have a PRC office of its own. Professionals there need to travel in neighboring provinces like Cebu to do PRC stuffs. My friend is travelling to Cebu this last week of May. I asked her to process my COGS for me. I plan to submit my application by last week of June coz Im still a bit busy with my Uni here in Syd.
So my question is, are they just going to file my COGS when they receive it and just retrieve it the moment they get my application? Or do i really have to follow a specific protocol like send my COGS a week before my application or the other way around.
Thank you so much mate! God speed! ☺ï¸
Hi paul_rn! I am interested in ACN's EPIQ intake on July or Spetember 2017. Can I ask what is the email to where I can make an inquiry to ACN? Do I need to complete all the requirements and send by post/mail? (Requirements like the vaccines and police checks)
Re: the police checks, is the fit2work not accepted in their requirements? AFP police check is a separate requirement from that?
By the way I'm from the Philippines, and I also worked in Saudi Arabia, so I did 2 police checks from fit2work already.
Hi cucci, RN! I am interested in sending an application to ACN also for their EPIQ program. Can I ask you what are the steps I need to take? Do I need to complete all the requirements FIRST, like the vaccinations before I can send an application form?
Can I send application form through email? Can I ask for the address?
Hi guys, anyone enrolling at ACN for June intake?
Hoping to know someone before the intake starts.
Goodluck to all of us! :)
cheers!
Hi whiska! How did you go through with the applications for ACN? I don't know where to start. I already have my referral letter from AHPRA and I'm interested with ACN's JUly or September intake. Thanks!

I was originally enrolled for the June 26 intake in Melbourne but due to some unexpected complications that will make me miss the intake, I asked them to transfer me to the August intake last March. The slots really get filled-up fast.
