Hi guys,

I've sent my application to the AHPRA office last 18/4/2017. They sent me an auto generated mail last 26/4/2017 stating that they received my application but my credit card was not charged yet. My questions are as follows:

1. Is it okay if I sent the COGS a week before the AGOS-40?

2. The COGS will be valid until 16/06/2017. Would it be accepted? Or should I send them a new one?

3. When should I expect them to charge my credit card?

1. My cogs from saudi was sent more than a week, my cogs from prc was sent exactly 1 week before i lodged my application

2.my cogs from saudi was valid until msrch 15, 2017 but, ahpra acknowledged my application april 8, 2017, i received my LOE on april 12, 2017

3.My credit card was charged 2 days after they acknowledged my application.

ahpra acknowledged my application March 8, 2017

Request for an extension of time in order to decide your application for general registration as a Registered Nurse

Thank you for lodging your application for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (the Board). Your application is currently under assessment.

Under section 85 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory (the National Law), if a Board or its delegate has not made a decision about your application by 18 May 2017, your application will automatically be refused unless an extension of this date is agreed upon.

Given that, we propose to extend this date until 16 August 2017.

If you agree to this extension please advise us in writing by 12 May 2017.

Hi Dy3p, I am a US license as well and I am waiting for my decision letter for AHPRA. Did they referred you for bridging program?

Hi Lark. I just received a good news today. I do not need to undergo bridging programme anymore. My background is I am a UK RN and I have 5 years dxperience from the Philippines, Saudi and The UK combined. When I came here, I underwent a sort of brdiging programme (overseas nurses programme) to be registered in the UK.

In your case, I don't know if they will recognize your license since what they're after is not only being licensed in a certain country but the way how you got your license in which in my case is like a brdiging programme since I went to Uni for it.

When were you given an offer letter for August intake? I did pass my application to them 2 weeks ago but i called them yesterday to follow they said no more slot left... :-(
