Part 2 thread New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand
I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
I hope someone can help. AHPRA is asking for this document:
· Employer signed statement of service in accordance with the requirements outlined at Section G, question 12 of the application form. The statement of service must include the following information:
- Official employer letterhead
- Dated and signed by a manager
- Dates of employment
- Indicate whether your employment is/was a full time or part time
- Part time or casual employment must indicate the total number of hours worked in the last five years period.
From our understanding, this is the COE. Are there other additional documents we missed?
Hello,
I have the same concern about the failure to meet criteria 2,3,6,8... They emailed me yesterday (February 12,2016) the referral letter for BP yet they stated the proposal to refuse registration in the future.
Could you please enlighten me on this regard as I have been trying to clarify and verify it with my registration or Case officer because I thought I have submitted everything yet I am disappointed with the result.
Please help guys. I would really appreciate any advice or opinion you may have.
Yes, they refused your registration since we fail to qualify and meet certain criteria. Hence referred you to a bridging program. The AGOS-40 you submitted IS the "request form" to become a registered nurse in Australia. The letter of eligibility your referring to is the response to the AGOS-40 you submitted and is the letter schools need to have before they admit you in their program. It is the same(AGOS-40) form you submit to AHPRA after your completion of the BP. Some use AGEN-40.1.) Apply for registration
2.) They refuse your registration and they refer you for BP.
3.) Complete BP
4.) Reapply again. This time attach your BP certificate.
5.) Wait for your license.
:)
Hi,
I have the exact situation! I received the referral letter along with other 2 files attached in the email. And I was saddened to read about the notice of refusal of registration. Although, I am really
worried they stated about 1month deadline to submit any additional documents to satisfy the said criteria--2,3,6,and 8. Like I have until March 11,2016 as a deadline.
Please enlighten me guys! Coz my school has already filled in and submitted the letter template, as well as the certificate on Pharmacology.
One friend suggested to proceed with BP and just worry about the said criteria when I apply for the registration. Would that be a good idea though?
good day fellow Filo nurses, just want to say God is good, i recieved my LOE just yesterday :)lodged my application last 5th of March.
i just want to share what i have learned as i know this would benefit all of us here in upgrading our career in Oz.
1. we don't meet the criterion 2&3 (perhaps 6&8 also) as i read in the AHPRA site so i didn't bother to collate the said documents for this requirement. my theory was correct & my letter was given that
p.s we are AQF 7 but as far as i know all Filo nurses will undergo BP, just correct me if i'm wrong :)
2. nbi clearance doesn't suffice the international criminal check of the AGOS 40 so you need to get it from the authorized body (fit to work). it would cost you around 6500php but hey! its an investment.
hope this helps guys goodluck & godbless to all of us.
planning to take the ETEA this september 16
Hello,
What could be the best way to address/respond to my registration officer or case officer regarding the criteria 2368 criteria that I failed to meet? There was a statement in one of the letters I received along with the referral letter for bp that I have 1 month to submit any additional information or document that warrants reconsideration for NMBA to register me as RN in the future.
any inputs will greatly help guys.
thank you in advance.
