Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Published

Good news everyone! I just got my eligibility letter! 1 month and 2 weeks process only. I thought it will take longer. Now, I'm planning to take IRON in IHNA Perth this February 29. Who went to IHNA either in Perth or Melbourne? I read the application form that they want their students to have 2 years minimum nursing experience with minimum 1 year experience in surgical / medical. I only have 1 year experience in a hospital (medical & surgical ward), 3 months volunteer experience in a hospital and 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in an aged care facility. Will that meet their requirements? Please help me. Thanks.

Congrats! So happy for you! Kindly give us updates regarding the whole process. As for me, I'm still waiting for AHPRA's approval. My CO still hasn't notified me if he has received my additional documents. :Frankenstein:

Hello everyone! I'm currently processing my application for IRON program in IHNA Perth. Good news is they have a special offer of 10,990 dollars until February 2016. I'm grabbing the chance to pay it even though it's still big amount of money. Also, they offer 4 weeks free accommodation - that's during theory class (first 4 weeks). It was a good offer. Anyone going to IHNA Perth this February 2016? See you!

Im going to IHNA perth also, January intakeí ½í¸Š I was asked to pay 10,900 but in divided installments. Free accomodation as well.
