Hello everyone!

Anyone here for IHNA feb 2016 intake in melbourne? I just have a question. Does anybody here know where I can have a cheap serology test for Measles, Mumps and Rubella IgG in cebu? Thanks.

Hi! still waiting for my loe, but im targeting jan2016 in ihna melbourne. If it's full, will take the feb slot so maybe i'll see you? I just had my MMR vaccine. My doctor said it's better to just take the vaccine than to have the serology tests because it's expensive.

6 months is the next option

Hi to everyone! I'm new here. I just want to know if there's anyone here planning for the february 2016 intake at UniSA (Adelaide)?

suggestion to those who are still searching for a school for bridging course... select the institution that has a hospital of it's own... or is a hospital itself... for your clinical practice.

Hi majai! Thanks for the suggestion, but what is the difference if the school doesn't have its own hospital? I am asking because i am eyeing IHNA because it's the cheapest hehe. Just want to know if i should study elsewhere? Thanks

There were schools who had to let students wait for available hospitals for their clinical placements... there are some that will assign you to a different region or far areas...

For those with hospitals, clinical placement is sure and in the same region.

Consider your time in completing the course... and since you are considering the amount to be paid... you are also critical of the expenditures... try inquiring with the school you are currently eyeing if your tuition includes your transportation when you will be assigned for your clinical placement. Also ask how much will your accommodation be during the lecture and the clinical placement.

time and the money is the essence since we don't get to work while doing the bridging course and our visa is limited to 3 months... you could avail of the 6 months as well if the DIBP will approve it.

I see. Thank you so much for explaining. Will consider other schools then.

The accomodation for the theory part in IHNA is free. The clinicals, though, i have to inquire where they place students because they do not have their own hospital. Anyone from IHNA here? Will appreciate your inputs very much :)

Hi all! Just got an email from my case officer that I need to go for ICHC(International Criminal History Check). Never knew this was an essential requirement for all new overseas nurses. Is it done for all or just for certain applicants? There's other information also that I have to provide via email. A reply will be appreciated!

That is needed for all new overseas nurses. It was a new requirement which they started on February of this year. It is actually indicated in their website. And there is a link there that will direct you to fit2work.
