I didn't check SCHN's website. I only came across alpine @ 18,500AUS$, IHNA @12,500AUS$. How i wanted ACON as my relatives are in NSW that would save me a lot for accommodation. I have started applying online @IHNA melbourne and will probably receive my offer letter in a day or two. However i am still adamant in taking that offer. A friend told me to try deakin as well only because one can avail of the student visa rather than a short-stay visa. La Trobe's national board approval end date is Feb. 28, 2014, while Mercy Health's website is "under maintenance" :-)
Just sharing...:-)

I heard that IHNA has opened its branch in Sydney, but I'm not sure if they are now accepting applicants. Did you inquire in Deakin?that was my first choice before but my consultant said that the next intake will be on June.
hi guys!
I am for May 2014 intake at Deakin University. Anyone taking their BP there too? Also my IELTS will expire March 2015, do you recommend that I take another IELTS before coming over to Australia? Because they said IELTS will be needed in the subsequent visas... ? Just a bit anxious... Actually I also have other issues to sort out-
1. My case officer hasn't given me an extension for my Letter of Eligibility , even after several emails of request. My agent has also tried talking to her, but until now, she doesn't grant my request. The BP at Deakin ends on August 9 and my LOE expires on July 22, 2013. I was just requesting for a few days extension. I am hoping that when I arrive there, Deakin will help me in getting the extension. But I hope I do get the extension before deployment so i'll have less stress!
2. I'm not sure if my vaccinations are okay already. I believe mine is up to date because the vaccinations also are also required in my current hospital. I'm just not sure if the details I have will be enough. Is it enough that I have the booklet of my vaccinations? Do i still need details like the vaccination batch number.. ? My friend who went to INHA said that I will still need those. But my agent said that in Deakin, the other students just attached their vaccination documents.
3. Can i lodge my visa application as early as this month? And have my medical exam in March? the intake will be in May 2014.
Thanks and I hope someone can give me an answer to my inquiries. :))
Good luck to everyone here!
I do not know the answer to all your questions. But one thing for sure Deakin will not/cannot deal with AHPRA on behalf of your letter of assessment, they may be able to advise if you need to get another, or not to worry about it on past students experience but they cannot argue AHPRA,s assessment dates for an overseas applicant. It might be best to contact them.

I also received a similar message concerning ACN modification of curriculum. I guess they are changing because of recent ANMAC consultations. Please, don't increase the fee too high.
