Hi I just joined in. I would like to clarify something as it has become confusing for me after countless of pages to back read from. ;-( I'm a Phil Rn with around 1.6 on going hospital experience. I have reading the ahpra website and also this forum as a guide. Now, I got mixed up on a certain requirments. DO we need to submit a CPD to ahpra? If yes, can we attained this through online? The total number of hours needed is 20hrs. Is this 20hrs per year or 20hrs as accumulated since i become a RN?

If this is needed can someone post a sample of their CPD. TIA!

HI MY FELLOW NURSES!

I happened to have a question for lucky those who have already received their offer letter from the College of Nursing in Burwood ( and believe me they are extremely lucky!!!). How much time did it take from the instance the College accepted the application package until the happy moment of receiving the offer letter? As far as I am concerned it has passed alredy 2 monthes and all my inquiries has been replied with the polite " you are advised to wait" response.

may i know what are the questions? and how many weeks did they schedule you to have the interview after you have submitted the requirements? did you pass it all? because i sent my application lacking my immunization record? im still completing it. what did you do for the TB vaccine requirement?

i wanted to be in the july intake. im worried that the aphra LOE will expire and my IELTS.

mmr needs to be 2 doses for adult? is it ok that 1 only? how about the polio? i completed the opv when i was an infant but our records were lost.do i need to get it pa?

i had the antibody HbSag where in my results are more than 10mIU/ml. do i need to have the hep b vaccine one dose booster?

its 633.3mIU/ml. i have a question also regarding the MMR 2 doses are actually needed? and the Polio is it enough that i have taken it during infancy period without any documentation?

That anti-Hbs will do;) just provide them with the certified copy of that result, that's recent right? About the MMR if you received it before you just need the booster dose now.

I forgot to say if the school just wants more than 10 for the anti-hbs then it will be fine coz yours is 600plus;)

And you should also give evidence of your hepa b vaccination;)
