I finished my application about a week ago! Have you heard anything yet?
No, but my application status changed and says its under review! In past years it looks like people have heard around Christmas.

I have not heard anything back either! I did the battery test and it says my application is currently under review.

Hey guys,
I decided to apply to another residency program (I graduate in may 2018) and I was asked to complete a 45 minute nurse battery test. I did not need to take this before (applied to one other residency program and was accepted but I want to move to DC!)
Can anyone help me out with what they are looking for in terms of questions about when to go to the manager, that's my most uncertain area.
Or any other tips!
Thank you!

How soon after taking the Career Battery assessment do you hear back for an interview?

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one waiting for next steps! I'm also waiting for results of the battery test. Best of luck to you all :)

Hey!
I just applied as well. I graduate in May 2018. I just took the battery test so hopefully good news comes back! Have you taken it yet? What did you think about it?
What areas did you all apply for?

I applied on 11/24/17, completed my Career Battery around 11/29/17, heard from the recruiter on 12/4/17.
I had trouble with very few questions! Of the multiple choice, I was fairly certain what I wanted to pick (except the question below...what did you put? It's a sample question available - so no cheating here!)
On the rating questions, I was mostly either all one way or the other. I didn't like the questions concerning the coworker who was hard to get along with. It did not give you info if she was doing anything harmful or if you just didn't like her personally. But the rest were ok and it was faster than I thought, I also expected open ended questions.
I wanted to pick A or E for this one. I ended up with A because I just had a meeting all about listening to what the patient wants and the story of Josie King. (Now thinking..maybe right answer is B even??)
Several members of a pts fam
have tried to speak to the pt's
physician at different times, but have not
been able to get the physician attn.
a. Interrupt the doctor to make sure
she knows the family wants to
speak to her.
b. Gather the family and schedule a
time when they can speak to the
doctor together.
c. Contact one of the family
members to let him or her know
why the doctor is busy.
d. Mention the incident to your nurse
manager who might be able to
answer the family's questions.
e. Find out the family's questions,
then ask the doctor yourself and
provide the answers back to the
family.
