MedLife Institute - Florida

Updated:   Published

Hello All!

I recently gained some information about Med Life institute. They are an LPN-RN school (with other nursing programs as well) located in Florida which offers an online/blended format way to earn your RN. After speaking to the representative she told me you come to FL for a week take some tests and exams to begin classes then do the rest online. The clinical portion is held in New Jersey at an affiliated hospital then at the end of the program you come back to take some more tests and exit exam. The total program runs about 9 months

I checked the Florida BON and saw that the school is legit and you can test for you NCLEX RN after passing the courses. This blended format is new however with the first class beginning in August of this year. I was wondering if:

A. Anyone has any experience with MedLife

B. Anyone in in the August blended class

C. Anyone is in the midst of applying to the January 18 class like myself?

Thanks In Advance to ALL responses.

Please don't - scammy 'school' with abysmal outcomes. All they want is your money.

What's the number to the school

Just an update since no one has posted in awhile. I'm officially a RN and got approved to start my BSN soon, so happy to be done with the school!

Congrats!! I’m currently looking to start the same program! As far as the financial aspect did u pay out of pocket or were u able to take out student loans?

@Smack1987 I paid for school out of pocket. I just got hired as a Nursing Supervisor with great benefits that has tuition reimbursement, so what ever isn't covered, I'll pay the rest out of pocket as well. I wish you the best on your nursing journey.

Is there someone that can guide me on the process of applying. How much does it cost? And what is the full true story about this school. If it’s a short program am in as long as they are accredited.

Thanks

@Kenny B Sure I had previous prerequisites from a previous degree, so I only had to complete 6 months to complete the program. The program was $18,000 for me, but I heard the school/program was closing, I'm not sure if it's every location though.

Has anyone recently graduated from the Medlife nursing institute in naples Florida? I was considering going there but I am really iffy about the school and accreditation and if they will actually send my info to the boards. I haven't really seen good reviews and they want me to start next week and I am so scared. Pls help

Thank you so much. I'm praying that everything will workout and they will send my name to the boards, because I know i'll pass it. If they don't then they will have to give me back every dime I spent. hugs back ?

So what happened? Did they end up sending your name to the boards? Why did u say you can't use your education? What happened? Im sorry for the questions they are trying to get me to start next week and I am so scared the reviews are horrible

Congratulations! Were u able to endorse your license to another state?

@Hopefull RN 3 of my coworkers attended the Naples campus, 2 of them are RNs and one hasn't passed boards yet
