Expect a lot of drugs in NCLEX. You really cant tell what specific drugs coz there are tons of them. just familiarize there classifications, s/e, and patient education. for example, do you need to take this drug with food or not.. Goodluck n your review. God bless to you.

There are a few threads discussing medication and one member even did a pharm test. Try the search facility using keywords and I am sure you will find it

on my previous test, what came out is Levitra, zocor, lovastatin(mecavor), I choose muscle ache/spasm something like that. is that right? any output those previous takers what pharm you remember?

Hi michelleo2,:)

I studied the drugs after each chapter of Saunder's the 4th Ed. this is a great way to review. If you know the drug classes, action of the drug (what they do) you'll do fine. Another way is that when I got time in the evening just to enjoy a TV show there are many drug commercials and it tells what the drug does. I really think drugs are everybody's weakness but I would save time and study meds everyday and after awhile you'll at least have an idea of what the drug does. Good Luck!

What makes it hard in the NCLEX exam is that with all this thousands of common drugs, you dont even know what kinda drugs it will come out in the exam...they just gave you the drug names and no classifications and you have to guess what side effects..Its BS really...they expect us to learn all this drugs but HOW..too many:banghead:
