Medications on the NCLEX

Published

I am terrified for the medication part on the NCLEX. What if I don't know those particular drugs? Any helpful tips?

I had quite a few drugs when I took the exam today. I never heard of half them. The others I knew but I don't know if I wasn't totally sure answered the question right because they were SATA. -_-

Yeah. I vaguely remember. But it was something about teaching about medication and picking which statements that would be correct. But like everyone says: know the drugs that are within their specific classifications (ie. beta blockers, benzos, etc.) and know their side-effects, possible interactions, and so on. Don't kill yourself over memorizing them though. We tend to store these kinds of infos when studying in our short-term memories. :x

But yes, I did the PVT and got the good popup. :)
