Depends on if you have other problems. Could be just a write up with counseling and education on why this was wrong.

It sure is proper to bring this up even though you "already accepted" your mistakes. I hope you learned you never leave meds at the patient's bedside! How would you know if the patient actually took his/her meds after you left?

now if she had not seen the medication and it was left there how can you be 100% sue he took the medicine. you never leave medication at the bedside . if they don't want to take it then it is just as easy to come back after their meal. those are prescription drugs and can have some pretty serious side effects. what if some little old confused lady wondered in there and decided she was hungry for some candy and your patient was asleep. i knew someone that happened to and she had a reaction because what she took and what she was currently taking did not mix. you probably will get wrote up and counseled.

If this is your first time of such mistake, you get a verbal counceling (hope I spelled that right) If not, you get written up or suspension. And yes I think it is proper to bring this up on your eval.

glad to hear that you have learned from your mistake, there should be no further action besides some further education for you to understand why you shouldnt be doing it, no doubt, you have been caught with one patient but were doing it with others.
but then you are in the phillipines and i don know how your emplyers will handle it.
