Where do you find your jobs at?

I'm getting ready to start school here in the Antelope Valley, and I've been browsing through craigslist, newspapers, yahoo hot jobs and monster and there is no listings in my area (I refuse to drive to burbank everyday lol)

my school offers job placement but if there are no jobs how can i get placed :(

well i work at sutter in northern ca. I just went to there website and applied. They seem really good at giving new students jobs. also the starting pay is good. I have been working there the past three years and i make really good money and its mon-frid, full benefits (if you're full time) paid vacay and holiday. But after three years im sooo ready for more patient contact and actually be able to help them ya know?? Anyways good luck!!

I wonder if they have offices down here lol

I plan on getting more certificates in OB/GYN,pediatrics,podiatry etc I want to be a more well rounded candidate

The want ads and employment websites are giving you a message. Jobs for MAs are generally less available than jobs for nurses and the ones that are listed want experienced people.

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

I earned my medical assisting diploma from a career training school back in 2000, and was never able to land a job as a medical assistant.
