I feel you! I'm going to take anatomy and Microbiology here during the Summer! Pharmacology isn't offered at my school in the fall so I plan on taking it in the Spring!

I'm taking Microbiology this Summer as well LOL & have to retake both anatomy 1&2 unfortunately. And I don’t believe pharmacology was a prerequisite for Columbia ? unless thats for other schools

Oop. You're right it's not a pre-req for Columbia but it is for another program I'm applying to! My fault! It's OK I had to retake physiology! Are you applying for just the MDE or MDE/DNP?

Ohhh okayy & I'm also applying to the DNP portion as well. I'm leaning towards Psychiatric Mental Health NP. I know its pretty costly though. How about you ??

I was just going to apply to MDE but now I'm kind of interested in DNP. I'm not sure if I'm leaning more towards pediatric primary care or adult gerontology primary care! I truly don't know! Do you know if they accept more people in one of the particular specialties or if some are more competitive than others?

I heard some people get accepted only into the MDE portion and not the DNP. But they usually still re apply during the MDE. The DNP portion is a little more competitive because I believe they’re fewer spots than the MDE. I think the Midwifery specialty is more competitive to get into because that one doesn’t have a lot of spots open

Where are you guys from? I am from Phoenix, AZ!(:

I am applying to the MDE/DNP with the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care speciality. I love geriatrics, my absolute favorite people to care for.

I JUST finished my pre requisites. I just finished retaking BIO 201...

That’s awesome ! & I'm literally trying to gather my transcripts together and take these preqs. I wished the application was already open I'm so eager to work on these essays already ?. I graduated with my bachelors last august. In patient information management. It was a private college so the degree is different LOL

@angrenteria10 @queen3lizabeth

I have reached out for my LOR, and am currently working on personal statements. To be honest I am over thinking the whole personal statement thing haha! That is why I started early, I knew this was going to happen.
