MDC Nursing Spring 2019

To anyone out there....

I had planned to apply for Fall 2018 but I will be finishing my pre reqs on May 1,2018. The exact deadline to apply for Fall. Is anyone in a similar situation? Do you think I should apply anyways?

I called again to find out about the full time program but now I got a different answer. Now they're saying that they haven't finished the selection for the generic program and it might be as late as next week. This is really frustrating. I feel like nobody at the medical campus is on the same page. It's like they don't communicate!

You might get used to the Mdc system. It's been like that for years of what I've heard from the professors that have attended Mdc as an undergraduate Even when there were clinicals we didn't know what professor we would have . One clinical rotation, I've had 4 instructors in a row.

just get your degree on whatever it takes!

Yea. What phone number did you call? Because I just called advisement and the health science dept and they said the same thing, "We don't know, keep checking your email." How annoying.

Believe me I know. I got my very first degree from there in 2000. It's just frustrating. But yes, I just need to get my degree.

I called Advisement 305-237-4141 and the nursing department 305-237-4101

Has anyone that's called so far asked if they send rejection emails as well? Thinking positive, but the anxiety is so real!

Strange, they that haven't send out the acceptance for generic program, also this is the earliest I've seen them send out the letters. The generic option has the most seats which maybe another reason for the delay.
