MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

I thank God that I am in the program, Spring Part time. I created a facebook Group for us, MDC Nursing Spring 2014 PT all Options are welcome.

I searched for that group and it didn't pop up for me. Are you sure you have it open and not hidden? I know there was a problem initially with the other group that they opened a couple weeks ago.

I went to the Wellness Center at the Medical Campus today to try to get my physical done and I was told to come back later in the week. She said it's an involved process. I was under the impression that it could be done in under an hr. Has anyone else has issues getting in over there? I guess one has to arrive when they open in the morning.

There is a place near the airport where I went to get my stuff done, it's a little cheaper than mdc as well. I went in today, waited about 10 minutes, and had my 10 panel, blood for titers and first tb skin test done, that was all $170. It's 40$ more if you need hep, and I don't know how more for the flu shot, I declined it.

I would suggest using another source. I did my whole check-up with the wellness center me I regret it. The wait time averages about 2 hours and they are very disorganized (probably the lack of staff). The place was always full everytime I went!!! I read on here that at any other location the wait is merely minutes. If you already paid like I had done and are basically stuck with them, then I suggest getting there before they open so that you may be the first one signing in. That flyer that is in the nursing website has other locations that offer the same package deals. I suggest any of those over MDC wellness center.

I will defiantly heed your words since, for me, figuring out how to study for each class I take is usually what gets me low scores in the beginning of each class, until I am able to adjust. Thank you!!! :)

Thank you so much! I called there yesterday morning and they told me they take walk ins. I paid $170, the flu shot was $25 and the extra $40 for the hep titer. I didn't wait long either.
