MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

Hi everyone! Just a heads up, I was at the Wellness Clinic today (Medical Campus) and they said that they'll have the PPD test tomorrow! Try to go early, I got there at 9:30am this morning & didn't leave till about noon; mind you I only had to do the physical and blood work for titers. What a mission!

Yea I got the uniform pants from pulse uniform, they are half the price and free shipping. The pants are fundamentals white swan cargo pants in hunter green. I bought the tops from the book store and the bag and I got the stethoscope and sphygmomanometer from my brother in law, But amazon has them cheap.

You also need a watch, lab glasses, and a pen light. There is a pen light in the bag but it is disposable.

I have a question! I already had my hepatitis B vaccine when I was 14. Do we need to run titers for Hep B as well or I could just show my shot record for this vaccine.
